Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Nick Dual (ranked 6593 p4p, 593 weight class) and Jaidee Suramongkol (ranked 8893 p4p, 676 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Dual!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaidee Suramongkol!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dual instigates a clinch.
Dual misses with a hook from the clinch.
Suramongkol crunches a lovely knee into Dual's ribcage.
Suramongkol putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Dual in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Dual is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Suramongkol is defending well for now.
Dual creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dual.
Dual tries to work over Suramongkol's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Suramongkol has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Dual seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Suramongkol can turn it around.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.

The referee is keeping an eye on Suramongkol - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The referee calls for Suramongkol to work.

Dual throws a punch but it's blocked by Suramongkol.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jaidee Suramongkol dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Suramongkol throws a switch kick that catches Dual on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Dual looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Dual flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jaidee Suramongkol!
