Schofield kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is hollyhood vacation. Mark Merker Junior is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Merker Junior connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Schofield tumbling to the canvas! Merker Junior pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Schofield was done - good stoppage!
