The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bean connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A head kick misses from Oxford.
Bean lands a jab to the head.
Bean blocks a head kick by Oxford.
A jab from Bean does it's job there.
Bean lands with a hook. Oxford tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Oxford takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oxford moves out of range as Bean strikes.
Bean connects with a looping right hand.

Bean fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Oxford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bean throws the left hand but Oxford avoids the punch easily.
Bill Bean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bean darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oxford shoots in for a double leg but Bean sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Oxford gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bean.
Oxford takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bean is in all sorts of trouble here.
