Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Kusack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Lindell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kusack has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindell lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like John Kusack has been cut.
Kusack is breathing heavily.
Lindell moves into the clinch successfully.
Lindell can't break the clinch.
Kusack jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lindell walks away with a smile on his face. Kusack gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lindell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kusack misses with an uppercut.
Lindell throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Kusack stumbling backwards into the cage! Kusack bounces back off the cage towards Lindell, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Lindell lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Lindell celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nick Lindell!
