The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lewis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Croce scoring with some ground and pound.
Lewis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Croce controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Croce won't allow Lewis to get back to his feet.
Lewis has momentary wrist control but Croce slips an elbow through the middle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Croce 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Croce has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Croce working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Croce connects with a couple of short punches.
Croce distracts Lewis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Lewis is rocked!
Croce trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lewis's guard.

Lewis seems to have recovered his senses.

Croce is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Croce postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Lewis covers up, he's hurt! Croce keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Croce and the ref steps in to end the fight! Croce can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
