Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sludge's waist but Sludge gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ueno off to one side.

Sludge closes the distance and clinches.

Ueno gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Ueno is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ueno is looking to stall here but Sludge recovers full guard.

Sludge is looking for a triangle but Ueno pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ueno is looking to pass into half guard but Sludge pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sludge is in guard.

Ueno has his foot on Sludge's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sludge works his way back into a safe position though.

Ueno escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sludge gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ueno isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sludge stacks Ueno on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sludge!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ueno tries to bench press Sludge off him but Sludge keeps the position.
Ueno gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ueno on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ueno tries to get out of the position.

Ueno is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Sludge has latched onto it... Big trouble! Sludge pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Ueno is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Sludge!
