Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gamzat Gamzatov (ranked 5255 p4p, 607 weight class) and Jaylon Anderson (ranked 4802 p4p, 575 weight class). Gamzatov comes to the cage accompanied by Entrance Song. Anderson has chosen The Monster as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gamzat Gamzatov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaylon Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamzatov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Gamzatov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gamzatov passes the guard and advances to mount!
Anderson is desperately trying to improve his position but Gamzatov has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gamzatov with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We've been hearing good reports from Gamzatov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Gamzatov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Anderson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Anderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gamzatov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gamzatov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Anderson is not content to let Gamzatov control the position.
Gamzatov has an Americana. Anderson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gamzatov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gamzatov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Gamzat Gamzatov!
An out of breath Gamzat Gamzatov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Jaylon Anderson spoke after the fight, saying 'Tonight, my opponent was the better fighter, and I've learned so much from him in this fight, just know this isn't the last chapter of my life.'.
