Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Berry (ranked 5887 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Biggs (ranked 3827 p4p, 0 weight class). Biggs is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Toxicity. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biggs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Biggs lands in his opponent's guard.
Berry wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Berry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Biggs on the ground.

Berry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Biggs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Berry stands up over Biggs, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Biggs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Berry's guard.

Biggs has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Berry is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Biggs.
