The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huang dives in and scores a takedown into Reis's guard.
Huang sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reis's guard.
Huang wants to pass to mount but Reis is defending the position.
Huang is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Huang tries to pass the half guard into mount. Reis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Reis tries to kick Huang off but Huang keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Huang is looking to take a break and control but Reis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Huang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Reis wants to get back to his feet.

Huang is trying to control. Reis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Huang tries to pass the half guard into mount. Reis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Reis is not content to let Huang control the position.
Huang moves into full mount! Reis won't be happy about that!

Huang is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reis is surviving well by controlling Huang's body position as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
