Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Hugo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugo comes to the cage accompanied by Yvan & Dan Daniel - Enjoy The Silence. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oliveira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hugo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hugo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hugo in particular looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliveira lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hugo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oliveira's waist but Oliveira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hugo off to one side.

Oliveira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hugo tries to avoid it but Oliveira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hugo to the ground. Hugo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Victor Hugo.
I think Hugo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
