PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sands (ranked 2309 p4p, 55 weight class) and Tor Iceberg (ranked 2859 p4p, 116 weight class). Sands comes to the cage accompanied by Hip Hop - By: Dead Prez. Iceberg is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Manowar - Hail and Kill. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Sands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tor Iceberg!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iceberg lands with a nice body punch.

Sands lands with a hook. Iceberg tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.


It looks like Tor Iceberg has been cut.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sands looking to hit a scissor sweep but Iceberg is one step ahead there.

Iceberg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

It looks like Sands has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Tor Iceberg's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tor Iceberg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Carl Sands!
