Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antone Griffith (ranked 24631 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Liglex (ranked 6101 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Griffith wants it to stay on the feet.
Griffith tries a head kick but it misses.

Liglex darts in and clinches Griffith up against the cage.
Liglex is trying to pull guard but Griffith turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Liglex tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Griffith just stands there and leans against the cage.
Antone Griffith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Liglex.
Liglex is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Griffith is defending well for now.
The referee calls for Liglex to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liglex has Griffith pressed against the cage, preventing Griffith from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Liglex is trying to force a seperation but Griffith has the dominant position.
Griffith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Griffith tries to break the clinch but Liglex is controlling the position.

Liglex is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Griffith to keep the fight standing.
Liglex jumps guard but Griffith stands there with Liglex around his waist. Liglex gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Griffith wants to break free but Liglex has control.

Griffith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Liglex misses with a body shot.
Liglex shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Griffith pinned against the cage. Griffith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Griffith tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Liglex manages to circle out of the way.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Liglex fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Griffith is looking to counter the offense by Liglex and move into the clinch.

Liglex fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Griffith, pushing him back against the cage.
Liglex tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Griffith just stands there and leans against the cage.

Liglex jumps guard and drags Griffith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Griffith passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Liglex is trying to stand.

Liglex preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Griffith is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Griffith working over Liglex with some ground and pound. Liglex looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Liglex with the active half guard here but Griffith passes nicely into side control.

Griffith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Griffith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Liglex is wriggling around trying to escape but Griffith has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Liglex taps out and Griffith picks up the big win! Great work there by Griffith!
