Wallace kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is scotland the brave. Both fighters look pumped up here. Azhiev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Azhiev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Azhiev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Azhiev drops back looking for a leg! Wallace is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wallace manages to kick Azhiev off! Azhiev jumps back into Wallace's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Azhiev is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wallace is looking to stand up but Azhiev isn't so interested in that idea.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azhiev advances to half guard.

Azhiev is looking for a kimura but Wallace is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Azhiev to get the leverage.
Wallace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Azhiev on the ground.

Azhiev is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wallace is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
