Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qayan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Smith dives in and grabs Qayan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Qayan pushes down on Smith's head and hops out.
Qayan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A cross from Qayan lands.
Qayan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smith swivels and escapes.
Smith feints the counter takedown.
Smith takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Qayan dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Qayan's head and hops out.
Qayan lands with an overhand left.

Qayan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Qayan lands a really nice looking cross but Smith seems unphased.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Qayan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Smith leaves Qayan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Qayan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Qayan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smith sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Smith drops his hands momentarily and Qayan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Smith misses with a takedown attempt
and Qayan counters with a stiff right hand.
Smith takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Smith takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A lazy left from Qayan finds it's target.
Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Qayan.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guyug Qayan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Qayan lands with a cross.
Guyug Qayan is winning the standup battle so far.

Qayan drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Smith right on the button. Smith goes down! Qayan follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Qayan gets the win via TKO!
