Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fletcher Lee (ranked 25392 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdulssatar Kayretli (ranked 7465 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdulssatar Kayretli will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fletcher Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abdulssatar Kayretli!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kayretli shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kayretli showed some decent athleticism there.

Lee makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Kayretli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lee explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Kayretli looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lee throws a head kick but Kayretli moves out of range.

Kayretli feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kayretli's guard.

Kayretli wants to control but Lee passes easily into half guard.

Lee decides to return to a standing position.

Lee keeps the fight on the outside.

Kayretli throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kayretli is in Lee's guard.

Lee has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Kayretli has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kayretli has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lee has passed into side control.

Lee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kayretli to his feet.

Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kayretli tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lee stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.

Kayretli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kayretli has clasped his hands together around Lee's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Sloppy strikes from Lee. Those never looked like landing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lee wants to break free but Kayretli has control.

Lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Kayretli has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lee clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Lee is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Kayretli off. It looks like it's working - Kayretli slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Lee displaying calm under pressure there.

Lee gets caught napping as Kayretli dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.

Lee wriggles free and stands up.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kayretli is working an open guard so Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kayretli scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Lee manages to mount him!
Lee lands a big shot there that rocks Kayretli but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee is standing up, even though he is in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fletcher Lee dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kayretli shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kayretli manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee gets to his feet - Kayretli follows without any prompting.

and Lee counters with a one-two to the body.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lee counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kayretli throws a quick inside leg kick.

Kayretli closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kayretli lands in his opponent's guard.
Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lee pushes Kayretli off and gets back to his feet.
Lee takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Fletcher Lee has been cut.
Kayretli is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kayretli misses with a wild combination.
Abdulssatar Kayretli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kayretli tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance.
Lee tries to counter by clinching up but Kayretli breaks away and moves out of range.

and Lee counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lee.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kayretli decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lee is controlling Kayretli's trapped leg to prevent Kayretli from advancing to side control.
Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kayretli can do to turn this around?

Lee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kayretli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

Kayretli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kayretli wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lee is now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kayretli to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lee has his feet on Kayretli's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kayretli pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Kayretli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kayretli tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kayretli is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lee is keeping busy.

Lee manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kayretli keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Lee lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kayretli takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kayretli has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lee uses from the top position.

Lee stands and steps away. Kayretli gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lee is trying to control. Kayretli wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kayretli closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lee quickly recovers to half guard.

Lee manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kayretli keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Lee lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Lee just leaning against Kayretli, taking a breather.
Lee is struggling to control the position.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Lee for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Lee wants to get back to striking at distance but Kayretli won't allow it.

Lee can't break the clinch.
Kayretli wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lee fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Kayretli has picked Lee up - he's going for a ride! Kayretli dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Lee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kayretli's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kayretli's back!
Lee keeps control of the position easily here as Kayretli tries to buck him off.
Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kayretli for as long as he can get away with.

Lee has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Kayretli is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lee gets his way!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lee has managed to slip his arm under Kayretli's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kayretli is tapping out! Submission win for Lee.
