Wright kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Warped Mind. Jim Joe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Wright working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Wright not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joe wants to get back to his feet but Wright is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wright's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Wright postures up and lands a big shot to Joe's brow.

Wright drops back looking for a leg! Joe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joe manages to kick Wright off! Wright jumps back into Joe's guard.
Wright is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Joe wants to hit a switch here but Wright passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Joe there!

Joe is trying to reverse the position but instead Wright has taken his back - oops!

Wright has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Joe! Can he survive? No! He's out! Wright gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
