The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera misses with a takedown
and Badass counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Badass connects with a jab.
Badass tries to clinch but Rivera is having none of it.

Rivera feints and as Badass raises his hands in defense, Rivera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Badass can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rivera controls the pace.

Rivera stands up and waves to Badass to follow him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rivera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Badass connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rivera fails with the takedown
and Badass counters with a straight right hand.

Rivera drops down looking for an ankle pick but Badass pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rivera is breathing heavily.
Badass cracks Rivera with a hook to the temple - Rivera is on wobbly legs here! Badass swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Rivera falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Badass wins by TKO!
