The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inanir closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Inanir lands in his opponent's guard.
Saltykov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Saltykov has momentary wrist control but Inanir slips an elbow through the middle.

Inanir stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Inanir throws a right hand that Saltykov ducks under and follows up with a left that Saltykov also avoids with ease.

Inanir darts in and clinches Saltykov up against the cage.

Inanir has picked Saltykov up - he's going for a ride! Inanir dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inanir is nestled in close to Saltykov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Saltykov is looking for a triangle but Inanir pushes his legs off easily.

Inanir stands and steps away. Saltykov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Inanir shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Inanir showed some decent athleticism there.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Inanir connects with a nice short shot to Saltykov's temple.
