The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson connects with a nice looking jab.
Danielson throws a sloppy head kick

and Robles counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Danielson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Robles tries to pull guard but Danielson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Robles jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Danielson walks away with a smile on his face. Robles gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Robles counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Robles.

Robles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danielson tries to avoid it but Robles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danielson to the ground. Danielson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
