PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Nobody (ranked 2051 p4p, 103 weight class) and Otto Tjack (ranked 1858 p4p, 97 weight class). Otto Tjack told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobody shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nobody takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nobody on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nobody shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tjack as he jumps to the side.
Tjack punishes Nobody's body with a nice straight punch.
Nobody has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tjack slaps away a takedown attempt from Nobody, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nobody is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close round but I would say that Nigel Nobody will probably get the nod.
That's time! Nobody's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nobody tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tjack defends well and Nobody ends up having to push Tjack into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

After the fight, Otto Tjack was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
