The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Darrow finds it's way through Ray's defenses.
Darrow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Darrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ray moves away.
Ray tries to clinch but Darrow moves away
and Darrow counters with a straight right hand.
Darrow lands with a cross.
Ray looks to land a left hand but Darrow moved out of range nicely.
Ray is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Darrow throws an overhand right that lands on Ray's shoulder, as Ray tries to avoid the shot.
Darrow lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Darrow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Darrow takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ray works over Darrow's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Hamish Darrow has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Darrow just misses with a punch to the body.
Ray throws a looping overhand right but Darrow ducks down to avoid it.
Ray lands a nice shot to the body.
Darrow fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ray on the side of the head.
Darrow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ray.

Darrow throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Darrow scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Darrow throws a chopping leg kick but Ray manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Nice shot lands for Darrow.

and before Ray has any time to reset, Darrow cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
