Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Dante (ranked 3140 p4p, 269 weight class) and Evan Page (ranked 2985 p4p, 263 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Silvio Dante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Page!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ron Honeybunn and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page fails with an attempt to clinch.
Page just misses with a punch to the body.
Evan Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dante, as that shot connected.
Page is looking to clinch but Dante is avoiding it.
Dante throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Page stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Page swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Dante counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Page throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dante on the side of the head.
Dante looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dante lands with an uppercut that bounces Page off the cage and back into range.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Page creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Page dips a shoulder and cracks Dante with a mighty uppercut! Dante falls back against the cage and Page unloads with a barrage of strikes! Dante is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Page screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Evan Page tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
