The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firmino swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stoner misses with an attempted mid kick.
Firmino lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Maverick Stoner has been cut.
Stoner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stoner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Firmino has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Firmino and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Stoner throws a body kick that misses.
Firmino wants to clinch up but Stoner keeps it at a distance.
Firmino ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stoner moves away.
Stoner motions for Firmino to come forward. Stoner throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Firmino ducks under a wild hook from Stoner.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stoner wants to finish this one by submission but Firmino is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stoner.
Stoner lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stoner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
