Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddy McTomlin (ranked 3914 p4p, 486 weight class) and Yggdrasil Livre (ranked 4326 p4p, 513 weight class). Yggdrasil Livre will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTomlin fails with the takedown
and Livre counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice body punch from Livre.
McTomlin darts in looking for a takedown but Livre gets double underhooks and turns McTomlin into the cage.
McTomlin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Livre counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paddy McTomlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Livre scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

McTomlin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Livre pinned against the cage. Livre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Livre! But no joy.
Livre bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McTomlin's head backwards.

Livre jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
McTomlin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
McTomlin gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Horrible takedown attempt by McTomlin or perhaps it was just good defense by Livre, which made it look bad.

and Livre counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McTomlin thinking.

and Livre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Livre bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McTomlin's head.
McTomlin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Livre swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Livre thuds his right hand into McTomlin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McTomlin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Livre might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
McTomlin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Livre tries to avoid it but McTomlin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Livre to the ground. Livre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McTomlin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Livre's waist but Livre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McTomlin off to one side.

and Livre makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Livre swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McTomlin.

McTomlin seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Livre has recovered full guard.
McTomlin is breathing heavily.
Livre is pulling down on McTomlin's head to control his posture.

McTomlin wants to control from the top but Livre keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Livre can do anything to dispel that myth.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Livre holds on and takes a little breather.

McTomlin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Livre defends it nicely.
Livre swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Livre counters with a huge left! McTomlin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Livre isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save McTomlin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Livre!

A less than humble Yggdrasil Livre misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
