The Animal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The Animal wants to control but Barmus is keeping him busy.
Barmus manages to work his way to half guard, despite The Animal's best efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Animal throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Barmus wants to improve his position but The Animal is controlling well.

Barmus is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The Animal is breathing heavily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Barmus with a poor takedown
and The Animal counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The Animal is stalling here. Barmus is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! The Animal seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Barmus has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Animal gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The Animal is trying desperately to improve position.
Barmus is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. The Animal can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Barmus looking to isolate an arm here. The Animal doesn't see it coming and as Barmus extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Barmus!
