The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridges shoots in for a double leg but Nurmagomedov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nurmagomedov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bridges throws a shot from downtown. Nurmagomedov moves away and avoids it.

Nurmagomedov goes for a double leg but Bridges avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bridges continues to drive forward.
Nurmagomedov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nurmagomedov tries to bum rush Bridges with a series of wild strikes but Bridges uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bridges scores with a three punch combo!

Bridges bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Nurmagomedov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nurmagomedov is squirming around, avoiding Bridges's attempts to control the action.
Bridges might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nurmagomedov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bridges is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bridges extends the arm and Nurmagomedov is forced to tap!
