Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Bailey (ranked 1463 p4p, 210 weight class) and Piston Honda (ranked 2586 p4p, 353 weight class). Honda is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sakura. Piston Honda will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Bailey!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Piston Honda!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bailey.
Bailey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bailey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Honda knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Honda throws the kick towards the body but Bailey avoids it.
Bailey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Honda defends it nicely.
Bailey dives in for a single leg takedown but Honda sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Honda throws a right hand that Bailey ducks under and follows up with a left that Bailey also avoids with ease.
Honda feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bailey's calf.

Bailey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Honda's waist but Honda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bailey off to one side.

Bailey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Honda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bailey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Honda is trying to control Bailey's posture but Bailey avoids it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luke Bailey will probably get the nod.

Oh Bailey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Honda lands an uppercut, right on the button! Bailey tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Piston Honda!

Piston Honda really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Knockdown Clothes logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
