The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez looks to land a combination but Jefferson avoids it well.
Martinez misses the shot to the body.
Jefferson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Martinez tries to bum rush Jefferson with a series of wild strikes but Jefferson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jefferson tries a head kick but it misses.

Martinez tries to keep at a distance but Jefferson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Martinez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jefferson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martinez, pushing him back against the cage.

Jefferson darts in looking for a takedown but Martinez gets double underhooks and turns Jefferson into the cage.

Horacio Martinez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jefferson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Martinez at a distance.
Jefferson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
