The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Em on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Petricevic. Petricevic obviously looking to wear him down.
Em takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Em takes a kick to the side of the head.
Petricevic throws a combination. Em tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Em throws a shot from downtown. Petricevic moves away and avoids it.
Petricevic tries to clinch
and Em counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Petricevic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Em counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Petricevic misses with a series of wild punches.
Em swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Em lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Petricevic misses with a jab to the body
and Em counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Petricevic is rocked!
We've been informed that Petricevic has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Em cracks Petricevic on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Petricevic falls backwards against the cage. Em follows up with more strikes that drop Petricevic to his knees. Em keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Petricevic! This one is all over!
