The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall shoots in and drives through. McGregor sprawls well.
Marshall tries for a takedown but McGregor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

McGregor takes the fight into the clinch.
Marshall changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McGregor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lenord Marshall. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McGregor manages to break the clinch.
McGregor scores with a nice right hand.

McGregor takes the fight into the clinch.
McGregor lands an elbow inside that Marshall shrugs off.

McGregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McGregor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Marshall's sensitive parts.

Bryan McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGregor moves into range and clinches up with Marshall.

McGregor throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGregor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marshall on the side of the head.
McGregor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marshall.

McGregor moves into the clinch successfully.

McGregor manages to break the clinch.
McGregor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McGregor changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Marshall takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

McGregor scores with a kick to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Marshall. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

McGregor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marshall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGregor pinned against the cage. McGregor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A nice combination there by McGregor.
McGregor throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Marshall crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
