The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tully blocks the body kick.

Veitayaki closes the distance and pushes Tully back into the cage.
Veitayaki manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tully prevents a body shot from Veitayaki.
Veitayaki has had enough of the clinch but Tully keeps him there for the moment.
Veitayaki swings wildly with an uppercut but Tully uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tully keeps control of Veitayaki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tully lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Veitayaki throws a punch but it's blocked by Tully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tully lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Still in the clinch, Veitayaki scores with a nice short uppercut.
Veitayaki misses with a hook to the ribs.
Veitayaki is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tully pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tully is pressed up against the cage. Veitayaki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tully down to the mat. Tully avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Veitayaki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tully throws a head kick that half lands.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tully.
Veitayaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tully moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tully tries to bum rush Veitayaki with a series of wild strikes but Veitayaki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tully forces Veitayaki back against the cage and clinches.
Veitayaki tries to work over Tully's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Veitayaki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tully smiles and moves away.

Tully throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Veitayaki blocks it with crossed arms.

Veitayaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Tully counters with a flying knee that drops Veitayaki! Tully dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
