The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Branch misses.
Petrov slips a jab and a cross from Branch.
Petrov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Petrov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Petrov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Branch was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrov.
Branch has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA ($800/week) in the buildup to the fight.

Branch throws a right hand that Petrov ducks under and follows up with a left that Petrov also avoids with ease.
Petrov throws out a counter right but Branch avoids it with no problem.

Branch throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Branch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Petrov.

As Branch backs off Petrov throws a huge counter combo but Branch manages to avoid it all.

Branch is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Petrov.

Petrov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Branch to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Branch looks to clinch but Petrov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Branch taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
