The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carroll blocks a head kick by Boraros.
Boraros displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carroll.

Boraros darts in and clinches Carroll up against the cage.

Carroll shoots in for a takedown but Boraros shows good takedown defense.
Boraros wants to counter the offense by Carroll and move into the clinch position.
Carroll shoots in but Boraros avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boraros tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carroll defends well and Boraros ends up having to push Carroll into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Boraros fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carroll avoids it really well and circles away.

As Boraros tries to get set, Carroll tries to push him back and clinch up but Boraros manages to avoid the attempt.

and Carroll counters with a three punch combo that has Boraros backing up. Boraros nods at Carroll to acknowledge the strikes.

Boraros shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carroll's guard.

Carroll is looking to cinch up a triangle. Boraros throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Carroll's body to avoid the submission. Carroll has instead reached around Boraros's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Carroll arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
