The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Young counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Young's coach down at IC&E Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Young's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Assassin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Young counters with a straight right hand.
Assassin fails with the takedown
and Young counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Night Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Assassin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Young as he avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Night Assassin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Young counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Assassin out cold! What a finish! Young is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
