Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mercher Thomlinson (ranked 5191 p4p, 523 weight class) and Rekon Trusti (ranked 6831 p4p, 617 weight class). Thomlinson comes to the cage accompanied by Savage Garden - Truly Madly Deeply (Hooligan Acapella). Rekon Trusti is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomlinson throws a body punch but Trusti moves out of range.
Trusti pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thomlinson throws a nice looking combination but Trusti bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trusti is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Thomlinson feints and then cracks Trusti's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trusti down.
Thomlinson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Trusti has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Thomlinson cracks Trusti with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Trusti tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thomlinson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trusti somewhat.

Thomlinson stalks Trusti and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Trusti's face. Trusti staggers backwards, shaken.

Trusti goes for a double leg but Thomlinson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Thomlinson continues to drive forward.

Thomlinson cracks Trusti's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Trusti slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Thomlinson can do further damage! This one is done, son!
