The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dar is defended easily by Tessier.
Tessier has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Nice body kick from Tessier.

Tessier gets through Dar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Tessier lands a shoulder strike.

Tessier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tessier leaves Dar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
