Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Pope!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odama tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pope swivels and escapes.
Odama swats away the attempt to clinch by Pope.
Jumba Odama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Odama shoots in looking for a takedown. Pope tries to sprawl out of it but Odama keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pope manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Odama swats away the attempt to clinch by Pope.
Pope takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Odama shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pope pinned against the cage. Pope gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jumba Odama. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pope tries to clinch but Odama moves out of range.

Nice takedown defense from Pope. No joy for Odama on that attempt.
Pope throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Odama crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
