Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tane Hendersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brynjard Tristan!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Tristan misses its intended target.
Tristan throws a shot from downtown. Hendersson moves away and avoids it.
Tristan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hendersson moves away.
Tristan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Tristan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hendersson's guard.
Tristan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hendersson is keeping the position for now.
Hendersson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tristan on the ground.
Tristan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hendersson's guard.
Hendersson tries to kick Tristan off but Tristan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hendersson is trying to maintain the position but Tristan is very close to passing his half guard.
Hendersson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Tristan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tristan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hendersson is on top in guard.
Hendersson thows a big elbow that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hendersson postures up and lands a big shot to Tristan's brow.

Tristan has his foot on Hendersson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hendersson works his way back into a safe position though.
Hendersson wants to get up but he can't break Tristan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hendersson stands up and waves to Tristan to follow him.
Tristan throws a hook to the side of Hendersson's head but Hendersson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tristan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hendersson, pushing him back against the cage.

Hendersson has clasped his hands together around Tristan's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Tristan dodges the ground and pound from Hendersson.
Hendersson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Hendersson wants to stand but Tristan is controlling his arm.
Tristan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hendersson off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tristan is persistently looking for the submission but Hendersson is defending it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tristan is cranking Hendersson's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hendersson! He's tightened the choke and Hendersson is tapping out!
