Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, AJ Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leveon Bell!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Daniels tries for a takedown but Bell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bell lands a lovely overhand right.
Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Daniels manages to avoid it.
Bell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bell lands a jab to the head.
Daniels tries to move into range but Bell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bell throws a sloppy head kick and Daniels moves out of range easily.
Daniels throws a big counter combination but Bell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Daniels shoots in but Bell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bell is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Daniels has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bell scores with a sloppy right hand. Daniels should have avoided that one.
Bell throws a nice looking combination but Daniels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've been hearing reports that Daniels has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Daniels stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Leveon Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Daniels tries to counter with a takedown but Bell is quick to defend against it.

Daniels moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bell throws a body shot but no joy.
No joy there for Bell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Daniels tries to clinch but Bell is having none of it.
Bell is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Daniels lands with a shot to the body.
Bell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bell swinging wildly here.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bell.
Daniels attempts a counter takedown but Bell avoids it well and moves away.

Daniels shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bell looks winded!
Daniels content to control rather than advance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daniels seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well, if Daniels is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bell is trying to get back to full guard.
Daniels is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Daniels stands up from half guard.

Daniels darts in and clinches Bell up against the cage.
Bell stalls.

Daniels breaks the clinch.
Daniels misses the shot to the body.

Bell tries to keep at a distance but Daniels has taken the fight into the clinch.
Daniels drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for AJ Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bell stalls.
Bell keeps control of Daniels as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bell presses Daniels against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Bell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bell manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bell throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Danielss head.
Bell tries a knee to the head but Daniels blocks it.

Daniels breaks from the clinch.
Bell just misses with a punch to the body.

Daniels closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bell's guard.
Daniels is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bell trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leveon Bell dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch but Bell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Daniels bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bell is looking to regain half guard here but Daniels keeps moving and retains side control.
Daniels content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Bell pushes Daniels away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Daniels gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Bell has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Daniels off and has taken his back!

Bell working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Daniels tries to buck Bell off but he can't manage it.
Daniels wants to hold on but Bell pushes him away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Daniels stops Bell from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Bell stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Daniels lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bell throws a head kick but Daniels moves out of range.
Daniels cracks a nice hook into Bell's ribs.
Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Daniels manages to avoid it.
Daniels changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Daniels closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bell quickly recovers to half guard.
Bell is breathing heavily.
Daniels performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Bell won't allow Daniels to pass to mount.

Bell keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Daniels missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Bell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Daniels lands a nice short elbow.
Bell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is working away from the top position though.
Still in half guard, Daniels seems content to control.
Daniels looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bell is looking to get back to is feet but Daniels passes into side control.
Daniels wants to control but Bell is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels controlling the position from side mount.
Daniels advances to full mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Daniels content just to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that AJ Daniels will probably get the nod.
That's time! Daniels's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Daniels moves into the clinch.
Bell lands a damaging elbow.
Bell is pushing Daniels up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Bell has Daniels pressed against the cage, preventing Daniels from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bell can't break the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Bell.
Daniels jumps guard but Bell turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A knee to the head by Bell.
Bell is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Daniels tries to pull guard but Bell holds him up against the cage and eventually Daniels drops back down to his feet.

Daniels tries to land knees in the clinch but Bell avoids the damage to the body.
Bell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bell lands a body shot.
Bell lands a shoulder strike.

Daniels gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Bell scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Daniels manages to mount him!
Daniels thowing shots but they're missing.
Bell is squirming around, avoiding Daniels's attempts to control the action.
Daniels controlling the position easily from mount.

Daniels looking to control but Bell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Daniels thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Daniels looking to ground and pound but Bell is blocking nicely.
Bell is squirming around, avoiding Daniels's attempts to control the action.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daniels with shots to the head and body - Bell looks very uncomfortable down there.

Bell tries to lock up and control but Daniels gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Daniels tries to control but Bell wriggling away.
Bell can't escape the position.
Daniels controlling the position easily from mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bell is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bell is trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Daniels lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bell hang on?

Daniels working for a guillotine from mount but Bell is in no mood to give up.
Bell tries to buck Daniels off but Daniels takes his back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

And that's the end of the fight!
AJ Daniels showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Daniels has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
