PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Smith (ranked 25025 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Shoota (ranked 6316 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Shoota told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Shoota tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smith is in Shoota's guard.

Shoota isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Smith stacks Shoota on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Smith!

Joe Smith decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
