Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kiron Golden (ranked 8039 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Eriksson (ranked 6038 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Script - Hall of Fame. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson connects with a nice looking jab.
Eriksson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Eriksson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sloppy strikes from Golden. Those never looked like landing.
Eriksson throws out a counter right but Golden avoids it with no problem.
Nice takedown defense from Eriksson. No joy for Golden on that attempt.
Eriksson scores with a body shot.
Oooooh!!! Eriksson has knocked Golden down with a huge combo! Eriksson steps away and waves a wobbly Golden back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Golden is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eriksson drops Golden with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Golden looks back up at him and smiles so Eriksson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Golden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Golden misses with a low kick.
Eriksson cracks Golden with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Erik Eriksson!
