The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown Jr slips under a jab from Agayev.
Brown Jr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Agayev.
Agayev throws the left hand but Brown Jr avoids the punch easily.
Agayev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Agayev. Those never looked like landing.
Brown Jr throws out a counter right but Agayev avoids it with no problem.
Agayev throws out a loose jab but Brown Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Agayev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Agayev feints a jab promting Brown Jr to slip. Agayev then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brown Jr slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Donk. Brown Jr catches Agayev right on the button with a cross.
Alakbar Agayev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Agayev misses with a double jab

and Brown Jr counters by clinching up.
Brown Jr lands a body punch in the clinch.
Agayev swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brown Jr lands a hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown Jr creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Agayev with a big uppercut! Agayev tries to clinch up but Brown Jr pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Agayev to the mat! Agayev covers up and Brown Jr unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
