And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Petkov tries to clinch up.

Petkov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lukas is looking for a sweep.
Petkov controls the position from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lukas is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Petkov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lukas is trying to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Petkov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lukas keeps working.
Petkov working away.
Lukas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Petkov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lukas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Petkov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Petkov's back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Petkov is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Lukas sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Petkov has no choice but to tap and Lukas jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
