Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Forthold (ranked 6118 p4p, 587 weight class) and Tre Fiddie (ranked 8263 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiddie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fiddie is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fiddie shoots in for a takedown but Forthold shows good takedown defense.
Fiddie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Forthold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Forthold misses with a wild body shot.

Fiddie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Luke Forthold has been cut.
Luke Forthold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fiddie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Forthold takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fiddie gets a double leg takedown into Forthold's guard.
Forthold manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Fiddie throws a body punch but Forthold moves out of range.

Forthold escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fiddie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Forthold scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Forthold lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fiddie fails with the takedown.
Luke Forthold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Fiddie.

Fiddie swings for the body but Forthold moves out of range.
It looked like Forthold was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fiddie. Forthold does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fiddie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Forthold has knocked Fiddie down with a huge combo! Forthold steps away and waves a wobbly Fiddie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Forthold stuns Fiddie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Forthold lands with a big right hook that stumbles Fiddie - he's out on his feet here! Forthold follows up with another monster hook that separates Fiddie from consciousness! Fiddie falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Forthold stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
