The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rickerson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Turturro is in Rickerson's guard.
Turturro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Turturro trying to control the position from guard on top but Rickerson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Turturro pushes down on Rickerson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Rickerson is trying to maintain the position but Turturro is very close to passing his half guard.
Turturro in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rickerson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Turturro!
