Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Brodie (ranked 4374 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hh Tt (ranked 8274 p4p, 749 weight class). Brodie comes to the cage accompanied by Living Thing by ELO. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brodie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tt quickly recovers to half guard.
Still in half guard, Brodie seems content to control.
Tt has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Slaughterhouse. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Tt is looking to escape.
Brodie tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tt controls his leg.
Brodie wants to pass to mount but Tt is defending the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Brodie feints and as Tt raises his hands in defense, Brodie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brodie controls the pace.

Brodie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Tt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brodie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brodie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Brodie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tt as he avoids it easily.

Hh Tt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Brodie shoots in looking for a takedown. Tt tries to sprawl out of it but Brodie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Tt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brodie doesn't seem phased though.
Ryan Brodie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tt moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hh Tt seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tt lands with a shot to the body.
Tt throws a good cross that connects.
Tt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brodie under the eye.

Tt bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Brodie is rocked!
Tt fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Brodie square on the jaw! Damn, Brodie is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
