Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Shlemenko (ranked 3602 p4p, 404 weight class) and Angel Face (ranked 3543 p4p, 399 weight class). Shlemenko's entrance music is Omarion Ft. Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko - Post To Be. A fine choice. Face is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tyga - Real Deal. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Angel Face was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlemenko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Shlemenko lands a nice shot that snaps Face's head back.
Shlemenko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Face throws a big shot that misses.
Face slips under a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Face misses the target.
Angel Face seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Face misses with a double jab
and Shlemenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Face throws an off balance right hand
and Shlemenko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Face is rocked!

enabling Shlemenko to counter with a crisp jab.
Face is still on wobbly legs! Can Shlemenko finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Face rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shlemenko lands a stunning uppercut that sends Face to the mat!

Face won't allow Shlemenko to pass to mount.
Shlemenko stands up from half guard.
Face seems to have recovered his senses.
Shlemenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Face throws a counter combo.
Shlemenko looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Face pushes Shlemenko off and scrambles back to his feet.
Face scores with a jab. Shlemenko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Face rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shlemenko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Face throws a combination. Shlemenko tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oooooh!!! Face has knocked Shlemenko down with a huge combo! Face steps away and waves a wobbly Shlemenko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Shlemenko is rocked!
Face fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Shlemenko out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Angel Face!
