Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Honda Housey (ranked 2456 p4p, 292 weight class) and Brent Stoner (ranked 2689 p4p, 319 weight class). Brent Stoner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Stoner felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Housey loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stoner scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Housey land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Housey stands and salutes the crowd.
