The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa darts in and clinches Cooke up against the cage.
Cooke goes for a takedown attempt but Costa pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cooke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Costa forces Cooke back against the cage and clinches.
Come on Cooke - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Cooke manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Costa lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Cooke crumples to the floor! Costa milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

A relieved looking Bruno Costa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
