The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a looping right.
Chinaman shoots in but Rios avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rios changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

and Rios counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rios swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Chinaman drives through with a takedown into Rios's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Chinaman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rios for as long as he can get away with.

Chinaman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
